What fuse for BAT?

Post by Aaron »

Lonzo's car keeps blowing the BAT fuse, I believe it's the circuit for the radio/horn. He had a 7.5 amp fuse in it, but before I just start tossing in bigger fuses, what fuse should it have?

Edit, after a search, found this, supposedly a 20A fuse: http://realfierotech.com/phpBB/viewtopi ... 08&start=0

Check the cig lighter/wiring. Whenever I'm blowing that fuse its something wrong with the lighter.

Yes, it's supposed to have a 20 Amp fuse.

The fuse panel should have the required Amp ratings of the fuses printed on it in white letters. Plus, the Haynes manual has a fuse panel diagram on page 243.

Thanks, after looking, it did say 20. Oops.

I put in a 20A fuse, and the fuse held fine, however the horn still doesn't work. The cig lighter works fine. I'm not too concerned, as this is outside the scope of the engine swap.
