Wow, that's tempting, those are really rare with the 284 trans! I need a FWD GM stuck in the 90s like I need another hole in the head, but that sure would be a cool car to fool around with for a while.

To anyone actually considering buying this car.
Buy an older 90s BMW 5 series, you'll be so much happier. It may be a lot slower, but actually being able to reach the radio and HVAC controls was a new concept to me.

To anyone actually considering buying an older 90s BMW instead of a 5 speed Z34, think about how long your arms are, how you drive your car, and how much you like hearing jokes about porcupines. If you care more about being able to reach your radio controls and hearing porcupine jokes than having fun driving the car, get the BMW. If you want to drive the Z34, get a new stereo (with a remote) and enjoy.Aaron wrote:To anyone actually considering buying this car.

Just make sure you get a remote for the HVAC controls, swap in a BMW 2.5 for the reliability, swap in leather power seats, swap in a power sunroof, swap in power mirrors, swap in an onboard driver information center module, and everything else the BMW has that the Z34 does not.
Look, I've owned multiple early 90s Z34s, and an early 90s BMW. There isn't even a comparison. The BWM is the far better car.

Probably hard to get something faster for cheaper.
Do you want an unrefined musclecar or a more refined but slower European car?
