saw something on tv about this and how they were going to rebroadcast this. Not sure when or what channel does anyone have any more info on this? I tried google but didn't come up with anything.

I tried using this website earlier but for whatever reason nothing was going on but you can listen to the 11 and GC talking right now as it reaquires signal after coming around the moon.

Heard of the NASA "Constellation" program? That's the follow-on to the Space Shuttle. It uses shuttle technology for the zero and first stages, with a modified J-2 hydrogen engine from the Saturn V for the second stage. The Ares V will be the heaviest lift launch vehicle in history. The Ares 1 will carry the crew to orbit. Google it.

That's 157,000 to the moon. The design point for the Saturn V was 125,000 to trans-lunar injection (TLI; meaning that the payload has enough energy to get to the moon, but will overshoot without a retro burn to slow it to a lunar orbit). However, because of the solid boosters, the Ares V will be much better suited to low earth orbit than it is to TLI.

The Saturn V, for example, with the entire stack liquid fueled could put 262K# to LEO and, as mentioned, 125K# to TLI.
