14k is aiming a bit high, like a lot high.

That, and that ad gives fucking no information. You can't expect anyone to spend 14 grand on a car, with a race engine that they know nothing about.

No shit sherlock. I asked her for all the pertinent info (IE dyno #'s, the vin, etc), I only have what she gave me, it's not my fucking car, I'm not attaching a value to it, her email is in the add.
Thanks for being a tool.

EDIT: It's only been up an hour and someone already bid on it.

Jesus fucking christ, someone bid on it?

Shit that means it's a goldmine.

Oh, by the way, I just set the high bid. Bids don't mean shit until they near the car's value.

I know. I just sent her another text asking for more info. Don't forget I have your address and I still owe you one for that apple.

That was a bit below the belt, I'll agree, but just trying to encourage healthy eating ya know? Next time I'll try something less perishable.

I take it the bodywork is completed?

What color is that?

How are the floors?

Trunk looks good from one angle, any rust tucked back in the sides?

Brakes and suspension wise, whats the deal?

If the bodywork is perfect and the chassis isn't rusty I could see $14k coming out of the car, interior needs a couple grand and I've seen those cars do $20k on a good day.

The body is excellent, runs and drives perfect, the color is a metallic purple (not the original color), as far as hidden rust....I've seen the car up close on several occasions, didn't notice anything, but wasn't really looking.
I really wish her the best with it, but understand that unless she finds the build sheet she got from the motor shop, it's kinda a crapshoot.

I'm gonna give her another day or 2 to find the build sheet before I go adding more to the add, I don't want to have a ton of little additions.
