maybe I should buy this fiero?
I found an 88 coupe for sale, 80k miles/5 speed.
Gonna go look at it this weekend. from what the dude says Its pretty much rust free, got a sunroof, power windows, working ac, spoiler
You think I should buy it? guys asking $1800
if I buy it, its to drive for the rest of the summer sicne the ac works,
then plan on swaping in the 2.8 (after rebuild) from my fiero.
got any advice?

Yeah, Will gots one of the cheapest fieros around haha
im gonna look at it, I got more then enough cash to buy it.
With the benjamins in hand i can prolly get less then hes asking
But to be honest I found a Tbird for sale as well. with Stupacharged 3.8 and a 5 speed
Might check that out too before I go off an try to buy this fiero. It would be a fun daily driver for sure.

Hey... It never hurts to ask. If you're willing to buy it anyway, the worst that will happen is he'll call your bluff. I'd much rather pay $1500 instead of $1800.eHoward wrote:fucking cheap-ass fiero owners ...
Edit - I paid $2000 for my 88 coupe in 97. His asking price was $2800. All I had to do was ask.
I'm seeing asking prices going up a bit. Especially on nice fastback GTs. (I don't know about sale prices, since I haven't bought one in several years.)I'll tell you what's interesting about fieros, supply keeps shrinking, but I notice no real difference in price. Wonder how long that can stay.
I don't think people have recognized how desirable the 88 coupes are going to get. Once people decide that they don't want to cobble up their 88 GTs and Formulas, the coupes are going to become the Fiero "engine swap" project car of choice. It's all the same under the skin, anyway.
