How to properly beat on a Fiero

Post by Cheeze »

KurtAKX and I decided to hit up the year's last Detroit Region Rallycross. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

HAHA, uhhh no. But they did get their butts kicked by a Jeep Cherokee which was pretty cool. I haven't seen the numbers but I'm pretty sure I'm in second to last place only beating the AWD 400 HP Trailblazer SS on hand whose excuse for poor times was running on all seasons. What kind of half bald tires does he think I was spinning on? I dunno, I was just there for fun and getting in some experience of driving these cars on the edge of control. This is my winter beater fiero so I don't think it's going to get modified for rallycross. Kurt (red car) on the other hand is getting right into it. Wants new tires and to win stock rear (SR) and maybe all stock 2WD cars. Next race is in mid Jan, we'll see how it goes.

Haha, looking at those pics, I was thinking there's no way the Fiero is above last, and that a Jeep SRT8 would really kick ass in that sort of event.

Not on sticky tires for on-road performance.

Well ya, but I wouldn't go to that sort of event with the stock tires, no way in hell!
