Stolen!
Guys, my Trans Am and my white Fiero are both gone!
Re: Stolen!
Gone as in really stolen? Holy shit dude, that sucks. What engines were in them?
88GT 3.4 DOHC Turbo

Re: Stolen!
The white fiero was still carrying the 2.0L from the '85 cavalier, I hadn't pulled it out yet. The T/A was carrying an '01 LQ4 with '01LS1 heads and '00 LS1 intake and fuel rail.
The monetary loss of the T/A adds up to $1700 spent, while the white Fiero adds up to virtually nothing, as it was a gift, and the 2.0L wasn't worth anything.
So I won't be doing any Fiero mods anytime soon, unless the black '86 developes a major issue.
Instead I'll get to showing everyone the right way to port Vortec 350 heads, and I'll get to assembling a SBC / 282 combo for the black '86. I have a lead on an L67 from a '99 GTP, and SPEC does make a clutch for an L67/F40-MT2/camaro flywheel combo, but now I'd need another Muncie shifter to modify. The L67 is looking cheaper, and should be about 10 mpg better, but I promised to show what an SBC / MT Fiero should do in the 1/4. Maybe Tina did well enough, but her engine was a big dollar build.

Maybe you are on "Overhaulin" and Chip Foose is hooking you up.
I wasn't banned, I'd just rather be here.

Re: Stolen!
Not in a driveway, but in a pasture. This is farm country around here. No way I'm being overhauled, and I'm pretty sure they're not even doing Overhaulin' any more. The Trans Am, they could do, but only a Fiero enthusiast could do a Fiero. Chip wouldn't have the first damn clue about the superior '88 cradle and rear suspension, nor doing an LS9 with an NSX trans, nor what wheels and tires I have in mind.
Re: Stolen!
Chip Foose knows all.
Sucks about the stuff getting stolen.

I assume you're following up with police, asking around, etc?

Some one got screwed.....Big waste of time to steal either car. Juunkyard will give them $150 a piece for them at least.

Re: Stolen!
At this point, in this area, both are fairly rare, especially the Trans Am. I really can imagine it in Mexico, however, it being a t-top version. But since the Mustang is still there, maybe it was someone who needs non-rusty chassis steel for their own Pontiacs. IDK.

Good news! I got a message that both have been located! No telling when I can hope to get them back, but they are not lost and gone forever.
Re: Stolen!
Congrats. Any word on what kinda condition they're in?

I'm sure the two of these are related somehow.Atilla the Fun wrote:Good news! I got a message that both have been located! No telling when I can hope to get them back, but they are not lost and gone forever.
Atilla: "Is this the police? My cars have been stolen!"
Cop: "Hang on a sec"
<goes up on roof of building and looks around, sees cars immediately>
Cop: "Found em"
