From the graph, it looks like he starts spooling at 3900, and has full boost about 500rpm later. Now I have 1.0 liter, and 2 cylinders on him. Yah, this turbo will spool at 3000 EASY, and obviously won't be an issue at 7000rpm as it will be 200-300hp down on that car.

That is quite the torque spike too, and look at how fast power comes on right after 4, I mean that line climbs at like an 80* angle! Impressive for sure.

What I think is crazy as hell is that guys have cracked 500 WHP on those cars on BOX STOCK engines that have NEVER HAD THE CAM COVER OFF.

I admit 500hp on a stock block is impressive. This motor is built to handle much more power than its currently putting down. He is still using the factory TB, intake and ecu. With aftermarket parts, he could be well over 600whp.

This motor was built to take abuse. I imagine the 500hp stock bottom end guys have to watch how they drive.

What amazes me is the amount of power that SRT-4 transmission can handle! Someone should be adapting that bitch to a fiero instead of rare hard to find NSX transmissions.

FWD = less transmission loading.

The SRT4 trans is the NVG-T850. The Getrag 282 production moved to the New Venture plant in the early '90s and the transmission was called the NVG-T550. NVG's numbering system appears to be loosely related to torque capacity.

The T850's ratios aren't much better than the 282's ratios, though.
