Saving weight with no downside. That's the point. That thing does nothing more than look pretty and cost weight.
Also, aaron, that scooped hood you have required more material than the stock style CF hood. Why would you waste power, handling, and mpgs especially in a plate that is so high up on the car. Totally wrecking you center of gravity bro.
It's the lightest CF hood available, and being that it enables me to run true ram air, I'd say it does improve power, by about 15 actually. And being that it also cut 75% of the stock hood's weight, I'd say it was worth it.
