I think anything above 450hp in an FD would be crazy to drive, so if it could be built to be 425-450 at the wheels then that would be perfect.

I'm a little hung up on building an oversquare V8. An alumunum block 5.3 would probably be just as good.

Heck, you don't even need to build an engine for that... Full bolt ons will get you there and then some. Are there LS headers available for the FD?

I just remembered that Peter Farrell Supercars is just up the street from me in Point of Rocks, MD.
