Either stock, experimental trans control or a stand alone trans controller with engine-only engine management.
I sometimes forget to ask the trans question up front because my swap uses a 5 speed.

Yes I am keeping the Auto. I am getting old and I just want to get in and go. I have a 5spd Abarth for my shifting needs.
