USB o-scope?

Post by ericjon262 »

anyone seen or used one? seems pretty cool, I was thinking about getting one so that when I start messing with PCM's a bit more I can see what some of the outputs are actually doing.

Look interesting, but I haven't used one.

I suspect you'd have to log the data, as running a real-time display via USB is probably a trick. It might not produce synchronous logs, but that's probably not a big deal for working on cars.

I'm somewhat skeptical of an off-shore manufacturer selling via ebay... but a quick google tells me that the US and European models are much more expensive ($250+).

I'm thinking I'm going to pass and try to find a good used unit, I bet a good used unit will be money more well spent.
