Post by jdv »

Funny how you bring this up. I was just looking at a set myself since they are pretty cheap and have been thinking of just going n/a on my setup and ditching my turbo.

The obx style is going to put the turbo much lower since the runners are longer which puts the collector further away from the engine. Of course you could modify them to shorten them to put the turbo closer to the engine. I have some pics of how it could be done at the computer at home.

My turbo and crossover should fit a 3400 setup if you might be interested.

Shaun, why do you want to ditch the turbo setup?

He'll give up his goal of 500 RWHP in a Fiero just to prove Lou Dias wrong about iron heads keeping up with aluminum heads.

Sadly I really wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason.

3500 exh ports are different than the 3400. There will prob be some issues with the manifold opening smaller or not aligned properly with the exh ports in the head

master power ar. 70 tells us nothing about the turbo so no way for anyone to tell you for sure. More info is needed
