That is a pitifully small intercooler. But I guess it's getting the job done.

Ok, its larger on paper than it looks in that video - which is odd considering its a small car. Its still relatively little core size for the cfm it flows though. Expensive too for how little it is.
I've got plans to build an intercooler to fit between the firewall and left strut tower. Fortunately we have a nice platform to house a good sized intercooler just left of the throttle body.

With the tanks people use with a/w, you can put ice in the tank which is good for drag racing, but if you are out road racing or doing highway pulls, you can get IAT temps down to 70 degrees or less pull after pull with something like this. Works better than just a/w and use your a/c to cool the charge even further. Thats greater than 100% efficiency from your intercooler system. Marine applications often see higher than 100% eff from their a/w setups as they pump cold sea water through their intercoolers.
