When I did my lx9 swap I used the malibu manifolds and ran the firewall side through a muffler where the cat was and out the passenger side. The trunk ran through a muffler and out the drivers side. The exhaust was 2.125 and it was a tight fit but the mufflers had about 1/2 clearance to the trunk /firewall. The true duels sounded nice.
