Sandblasting Rubber

I just found out that sandblasting (actually, I'm using crushed glass media) works well for cleaning rubber.

This example is for the rubber bushings which hold the steering rack to the front crossmember. There were a lot of corrosion byproducts stuck onto the rubber.

Rubber should be especially easy to media blast.
