I was reading on 60 sdegree and I think I read where someone said the head bolt locations are different on a dohc. WHich means they are different in the block too so the heads can't even be bolted down. THis is what I read but I dont' have a dohc block laying here so I cant' confirm.
An external oil return or delivery system could be fabbed up. But if the heads wont' even bolt onto the block then I guess it doesn't even matter.
It sucks not having one here to look at to check all this stuff out.

I don't think it has different head bolt locations...
Are those heads bolted down to your head rack? If not, pull em off and snap a couple of your deck surface and we'll compare.
I can get some of my deck straight on, which would be a little better for figuring out things like that than the angled pics posted.
