Went to Nextel shootout last night. Videos

I had passes last night to the Nextel shootout in Daytona so I thought I would go and check it out. This is my second year going and its pretty fun. It sure wears you out though. I got there pretty early in the day around 2 or so and the Nextel shootout didnt' start till like 8 or so.

So needless to say I stood around a lot and took pics and stuff.

PRetty cool seeing all the cars up close.

I was allowed pit access and also garage access so I could pretty much go whereever I wanted. I took a couple of memory sticks and my crappy camera to get some video. About 20 minutes there and my batteries die so I am pretty pissed. SO I leave and go back home to pick up some more batteries. Lucky for me I dotn' live too far away from teh speedway and plus I was hungry so I grabbed a bite to eat.

Here is one video while I was in the pits. I am sure you will recognize these cars. You could really smell the race gas and burning tires when they came in here. It was pretty cool to watch. Sorry about the quality but my camera doesnt' do too well at night and the microphone well just plain sucks ass. It was really really loud down in there. Hope you enjoy the vid.
