Funny enough.. it's more likely you'll die from lightning, then from a terrorist attack... if you want to look at probability factors. Why are you so afraid to test these hypothesis presented in this sceintific paper? They are simple questions.

No.. Bush is a moron, I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't tie his own shoe... however, the organizations behind him... PNAC (the project for a new american century if you didn't know), Carlyle Group, Halliburton... These people are more than capable.. and they ARE our federal government.. look at his cabinet..

Speaking of common sense...

How many buildings that have been hit by a fully loaded, fully fueled airliner have remained standing?

There's no conspiracy here; no argument for it stands up to any sort of scrutiny.

Out of curiousity, precisely what is being claimed as the conspiracy? I mean, is it the entire 9/11 attack? Bin laden? Terrorism in general? Is there a single aspect that someone can point out as being indicative of a conspiracy?

All I'm attacking (even though there are MANY conspiracies out there concerning 9.11) is the official story of WHY building number seven fell.. I believe once the truth behind that comes out... we'll be able to reveal more of what really happened on that tragic day.

Ok, lets try and use some common sense to aproach this.

When working in my shop, If I need to bend a large piece of steel I heat it with a set of torches, burning propane, and acetalyne. We switched from oxygen to propane, because it is cheaper, lasts longer, and does the job. Admitedly it burns dirtier and at a lower temp. It still does all the cutting we need, and we cut up lots of scrap metal. (buldozers, and trucks...etc).

Back to the bending, you do not need to get anywhere near the melting point to make the material maleable. Therefore, it is completly plausible that all three buildings collapsed from fire damage. Strutural fires are generally spread throughout a floor before they rise up the building. If the majority of the beams in the horizontal plane are weakend the same amount, then there will be no bending moment on them, and they will not shear due to these stresses.

Now say you hit the building with a plane, you have temps high enough to reduce the tensile strength of the flats on the structural beams in the vertical plane. Now remove some of those beams due to the plane crashing into them. You are left with a bending moment acting on weak beams, with MASSIVE amounts of weight on top of them.

Its definatly possible, and is definatly plausible.

I also believe that the "HERO" route and the catching of the terrorists route would have been a much better option. I refuse to believe that corporate america is that evil. To say that it was orchestrated by the cabinet members, would require the most massive coverup in the history of the world. Remember there were more than 2 planes, and more than the towers got hit.

That really is the trump card to the whole argument; dubbya is an idiot; How do you expect someone to participate in a conspiracy that large without having the intellect to form a sentence without sounding like a cross between Fred Rogers and Porky Pig? Which leads right into the manchurian candidate scenario I suppose. Whatever the case, no fucking way.

It's the psychology of big disasters; people like to believe there's something more to it than just a few terrorists to make them feel "less powerless"; the defense mechanism being it takes more than just a few screwballs (or loose screws, actually) to put your life in danger. Virtually every airline crash, attack and natural disaster has myths like these associated with them.

Corporate America isn't evil, just ammoral. "It's our policy". "Our responsibility is to our stockholders." "It's business". It's amazing what you can get people to do if you give them a superior and put a uniform on them; be it a suit and tie or BDUs.

I don't understand why this is such a crazy notion... You've never heard "Beware the military industrial complex"

I'll let you google that, tell me who said it...

I've addressed this before and it didn't have any result then, either. Silly me for thinking that any of what I said sunk in.

Will, all you do is to run from issues, then claim you answered them in later posts. Other than tech, you are surely the biggest chicken on this board. If not, go answer my long reply in the other recent thread.... nope...

That would be as big a waste of my time as trying to convince Diggity that aliens don't want his brain for sherbet.

I talked about the Silverstein's line in the last thread in which this topic came up.
