It's not exactly a slushbox per-say. There is no torque converter or planetary gear. It's actually a computer controlled twin-clutch set up. I suggest that ever single person on this forum take one out for a test drive. The DSG is simply amazing. Next years model will have launch control too.

Is that the same idea that is being used on the M5, where it is like a computer controlled stickshift?
If so, I can't wait to drive it, though I've heard nothing really positive about it other than that it's weird.
