Does this look Familiar???

Post by Shaun41178(2) »

While up in Canaduh visiting jon a few months ago, Jon showed me this book. It had to do with V6's in general, and to be honest I dont' think Jon ever really looked through it before giving it to me.

Well look at what was pictured inside of this book. Mind you the book is from like 1982. So it was long before the 60 degree became what it is today. I want to say teh book was published shortly after the 60 degree started to make it into FWD cars and such back in the early 90's. Here is a pic of an intake manifold that was in the book. It look familiar to anyone here? I have the larger pics uploaded and will provide a link.

Pretty cool huh?

Here are the links to the full res pics. You can read the page where they talk abotu the intake and stuff. Its big but its that way on purpose so you can actually read it. According to the book, it sounds like that one was the only one made. Hmmmm I wonder where it is today??

No we sold it all long ago. Had the aluminum heads sold in like a month, block in about 2, and the intakes around 1-2 months or so.

Truely rare it was. And noone really wanted it. Someone got it for a steal. jon has the guys email addy I think and I know it went to Darrel Morse to have it modified to fit in a larger tb and things of that nature. Not sure if it has ever been installed though. Or even if the guy even posts on Fagland.

Maybe Jon knows more and can chime in.
