Why are my "Pontiac" tail lights always on?

I noticed this the other day, they are on, all the time, day or night, no matter what. I think the headlight switch is a little messed up so I am switching it out tomorrow. Any other ideas?

is it only the pontiac? not the parking lights?
if so i think someone rewired it

I'm pretty sure the PONTIAC light is supposed to be on whenever the car is on. Doesn't matter if the headlights are on or not.

That's correct. They're on when the ignition is on.

Really? I guess I never really noticed. I think I noticed now because I replaced the old ones with brighter ones that rodney sells.

I have the Exact Opposite Problem, Mine refuse to go on, Replaced the bulbs, and all my other electronics function properly.
