was browsing ebay looking at turbos and was wondering about a couple of them as far as sizing for the 3.4tdc

that first one is identical to mine except mine has the "hifi" compressor housing and wheel.

Same app as you too.

I've heard some very bad things about those turbos splitting, good luck.

he is talking about ones from SS autochrome.

Its not a true garret turbo.

STay away from ebay turbos. You never know what you are going to get even if new.

Buy from a reputable shop if you are going to buy garret that way you know you are getting true garret turbos.

Dont' get them cause they are cheap on ebay. You will end up paying more later on.

nothing the mig or tig won't fix

the housing is of much less concern than the internals - I want a good quality core -

if you aren't planning to do anything with that split one I could make some nice molds to cast ceramic composite compressor housings out of
