I cant wait till they hit the road so i can add them to the " killed" list.

This isn't intended as a flame, but even the all-powerful r34 Skyline weighed 3700 lbs and the next one is based on the G35. Most carmakers do this sort of thing.

R32 was the racecar, the R33 and R34 are both larger heavier cars.
I think the camaro will be a decent car, just not my style. I'd much rather have the challenger, looks cooler and you have to love the hemi.

You don't dominate NASCAR and have them change the rules with an engine that sucks.

Correct me if im wrong. But isnt the srt hemi producing 425? And doesnt it weigh into the 4000's? But yeah gotta love the hemi :salute: Less power in a fatter car.

The modern Hemi is not really a Hemi at all - it has a polyspherical combustion chamber similar to that in many other modern engines. A true Hemi head was considered in the design phase, but it was rejected and only the near-perpendicular valve arrangement remains.
rejected because it sucks.....

Actual Hemi chambers have an absolutely terrible volume/surface are ratio.
However, the valve line being perpendicular to the engine axis theoretically allows much better ports than the valve line parallel to the engine axis (eg, LS1, traditional Chevy)

Yeah, crappier cylinder design but improved valve and sparkplug placement. Tradeoffs I guess.
The newer hemi engines would be a whole lot better if they were aluminum block like the LS engines.
