We just had them calibrated so they would be within 20lbs for sure.. When your dealing with $100,000 loads of canola they like to be pretty close.

Got a call today that the car was painted so I went down there and took some pictures. This paint looks awesome in real life. I am glad I went black on the roof, looks even cooler in person.

The color is Nissan Daytona Blue which my painter said has a ton of pearl in it, more than he has ever seen in a paint. The paint is literally half pearl. It looks great in real life, and you can see the purple in it at different angles.

I'm happy :thumbleft:

What I'm paying and what it's worth are 2 completely different numbers.

The blue Subies I see with CF hoods look pretty nice. The black/blue combo works. That's also the most frequent combo I've seen in shot of the Bugatti Veyron.

I've been thinking about a body/roof two tone for my Fiero since 1FST2M6 had his car painted orange/black.

I have always loved 2 tone. I tried to get someone to photoshop my fiero in 2 tone in this thread in 05
phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=1900

I think it makes a car look smaller and more agressive. The black blue combo on my skyline makes the lines of the car pop out. Now it actually looks like a widebody. When it was dark blue there was no definition to the shape.

Just sold my no name brand CF hood that came with the car and bought a brand new Seibon JU style hoof. Looking for better fitment and this one is functional with vents molded into it.

Will get pics of it on the car in about a week when I get the car home.

My new intercooler arrived today, 40" x 12" x 2.75". Its a monster. Same size as stock but 1/2" thicker.

don't know why the bottom row looks odd in the pics, its percect from straight on.

Well I finally put her all back together. I think the 2 tone looks awesome and the pics don't do it justice. Here it is.

Picking up these rims tomorrow. Advan rg-IIs

18x9.5 with 255/35zr18 tires. I will upgrade to 25 or 275 tires when I waer the rubber off these rims.

What do you guys think?

I know, they were always on the list of things to change on my car.

I learned that the Stern rims that were on my car were offered on the 1993 Saleen Mustang. I guess they are quite valuable to a fox body Mustang owner.
