At first I thought it looked stupid, now it has grown on me a little. I just don't get why the work to do this. And how would you gain clearance to fit the VW body on there?

I think that's hot. I've been theorizing how a Fiero might make an interesting Rat Rod chassis if one were to put a chopped down pickup cab or something similar. Nothing says that you have to put a fiberglass body on the car.

Yea, my first thought was....fugly.....but then I kinda started to like it. Throw an LS2 in there and have a very unique ride. Cheap too, 2k for a project well along. So how did they make cleaance for the VW body? Dod they cut the Fiero chasis down? Seems like it would weaken it if that's the process.
