Possibly for sale: V6 turbo kit
I have a complete and working turbo kit for a 2.8, 3.1, 3.4L pushrod v6 for the fiero that I am probably going to sell.
Just wondering what it is worth. I'm thinking around $1,000 but not sure.
It comes with:
t3 Turbo pushing 10 lbs boost (.48/.63) (internal wastegate)
TurboXS Manual Boost Controller
BOV
Boost Gauge
Air Intake Temperature gauge (digital)
Gauge Pod
crossover pipe that hooks up to stock manifolds and bolts up to turbo
down pipe
oil feed line
oil return line
modified oil pan for turbocharger oil return line
intake pipe with reusable conical filter
all hard charge pipes
silicone couplers with T-clamps
intercooler that was supposed to be installed with it but never was (you can modify the kit very easily to use the intercooler if you want)
Basically it would come with everything to turbocharge your stock or modified 60 degree v6. I'm just not sure what it's worth. Maybe ebay is my best bet.

stock 2.8 will do just fine on 10psi - it can handle 14 fine as long as you tune it properly. my dads 2.8 turbo has been runnign 10psi for the last 40K miles and it doesn't even have an intercoolerproduct1620 wrote:oh, just to clear somthing up, I thought the stock 2.hate could only take about 7-8psi, why is this one set up for 10psi? feel free to call me stupid if im wrong.

the kit is a custom built and yes it comes with a 2-bar map sensor and a custom burnt chip to accommodate fuel and the new map sensor. It also gets rid of the EGR valve.
This kit is only for an automatic transmission. It does not look like it will work for a manual.
Give me a week to pull it off the car and get it all cleaned up and get decent pictures taken of everything, but I think I will be selling it for around $1,000 shipped unless somebody thinks that is outrageous.
If nobody wants to pay that for it (only worth what a person is willing to pay right?) then it will go on Ebay with a starting bid of $600 and we'll see what happens.
