Steering wheel replacement

My steering wheel is pretty much shot so I'd like to replace it. A repro would be ok but I wondering if there is an aftermarket steering wheel that fits without an adapter. I don't like moving the wheel closer to me. It would be ok if the wheel could be modified as long as structural integrity is maintained. Anyone know of a steering wheel like that?
