Brake problems

Post by MotoPhycho »

I am not really mechanically inclined and aparently neither is my mechanic
problem: the brake line that goes to the back of my Fiero 2.5 goes into a junction box then branches off to each rear brake. What is this box called? Is there a cross reference part? also the brake line fittings are different, he says they are 1/4 inch lines but the flare is a bubble shape. any cross reference for this? What happens is when he pumps up the brakes, they break this connection. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanx, Bill

just have him get a T fitting - and re-flair the tubing to match the T

its just a T block - nothing more

if you are replacing the tubing and its flairs don't match the Tblock then just get a T that matches - the auto parts place should have a bin of them
