This wasn't even full throttle or you would have seen my wheel come up and me have to let off. this was just me fucking around scaring a friend that was in the car I hadn't seen in years.

The 600s aren't that far off from the 1000s. A half second in the 1/4 is it, and a 600 could have probably stayed right on Trevor's ass there, as he has to worry about his front tire staying down.

It's like the ignorance in saying how the Hayabusa is the fastest and quickest bike ever. In reality, the 1000s are quicker, and the 600s aren't far off.

Weight means more than power.

You keep forgetting what really matters most. Power and wind resistance.

A 1300cc 185+hp Hayabusa will kill a 1000cc crotch rocket as soon as it's going fast enough to keep the front tire down. Its POWER that gets you through the air, not how light you are. It is well into the 9s in the 1/4, I don't see how that is any slower than a liter bike. At the end of the 1/4 the Hyabusa would be pulling hard on the 1000 where wind resistance is getting extreme.

Well into the 9s?

Not sure where you're coming up with that considering it's a mid 10 second bike.

I bet I can find a 1000 that's cut a mid 9 stock, and a 600 that's dipped into the flat 10s, maybe even 9 range stock. There are such things as factory freaks. But professional riders on a number of Busas average mid 10s, look at the magazines. I subscribe to Sportrider, where the 1000 is at a 9.7 and the 1300 is at 10 flat. Best riders in the world, on brand new bikes.

Their 600s are pulling mid 10s.

The busa is a black mans status bike like a caddy. the bike is 20hp less and 100 pounds more. then most 1000cc sportbikes. The busa isn't the fastest bike ever like so many people seem to think. Fuck busa's.

So basically exactly what I've been saying.

The Busa really is a shitty bike. Like you said, a status symbol. And something to make your dick look big when talking to ignorant fools...Like above...

The Busa has more power, and the same if not less wind resistance (Lower to the ground). Yet it's slower. Weight.

Busas don't actually have problems with the front tire. The bike is so long and the weight is slung over the front end so well that a 600 is easier to pull up.

Get your facts straight dude. It's like saying your Fiero is faster than the STS because it cuts through the air faster. Sure that may be a part of it, but when you drop 1000lbs, or in this case 120, that's the biggest factor. It's why the 600s and 750 are such competitors, and why once on the street, it isn't at all uncommon to watch a 600 ride the tail of a 1000.

look at the mph between the 99 busa and the 00 R1 Busa has 10 mph on it!!!

Thats called hp folks and thats what gives you the mph even if you weigh more then your opponent.

Only in the last couple years has the r1 been on par with the busa. Niether bikes are slow. It takes about 800-900 whp in a car to hang with an R1 or busa.

600 is totally different. They don't trap 140's

Aaron did you read my kill post racing my buddies cobra? FYI that cobra runs down 600's on the top end no problem. Have them on video. My car isn't slow. Remmeber I don't have a SBC in the back

I'm not a big fan of stunting myself. I respect the amazing amount of dedication and levels of comfort needed with the bike, it just isn't something I like. I got pretty good at wheelies and stoppies on my old dual sport, but beyond that I wouldn't take the chances to go farther. I hurt myself enough with just those... :thumbleft:
