BSG- Best show ever.

Post by crzyone »

Just finished watching the 3rd season on DVD. This has to be the best show on television. It's like a high quality movie that just doesn't end.

I missed the season 4 opener the other day, I have it downloading as we speak. Glad I missed it, gave me time to finish season 3.

Anyone else like this show?

The characters are done so well, tons of character development. I actually feel for some of the characters when I'm watching. The guy that plays Baltar is a great actor. They all are, there isn't a single character that doesn't seem to be well done.

When I was watching season 3 one week at a time when it was airing I was a little disappointed, it seemed so much slower than the previous seasons. Now that I sat down and watched them all in a row over a couple days it was way better.

I never intended to like the show, caught it on tv now and then and I didn't see the big deal. My dad lent me the first season and I was hooked in the first 5 minutes of the first episode. If anyone here was like me, do yourself a favor and buy the first season. You will end up buying the rest of them soon after.

I grew up on the original, but I haven't seen any of the new ones.

People that have seen the original series have a hard time getting over the fact Starbuck is a woman in the new series.

Rent or buy yourself the first season and watch it. I don't think you will be diasppointed. Treat it as an entirely new show with almost no ties to the original.

Any places online I can watch an episode or 2?

What is the show, what's it about, what does BFG stand for, etc? I have no clue what it is. And what channel is it on?

I'm not one for Sci-Fi's, I don't think I'd like it. I may watch an episode on Youtube the next time the bitch blows me off though.

I do like Sci-Fi if it is well done. Not a fan of the B movie type. This is a high quality show. Do yourself a favor and rent the first season. The quality of a DVD makes it so much better than anything online.

I'll be the odd one out. I liked the first season. But partway through the second season, it turned into a soap opera in outer space. By the third season, I had nicknamed it "Emo Theater". I didn't even bother wasting my time with the 4th season.

Top Gear is a MUCH more worthwhile waste of my time, LOL.
