Skylines and Poopras from Japan local

So the shop I take myc ar to for dyno tuning has been contracted out to assemble cars from japan. I guess the way it works is that cars from Japan arent' allowed here do to crash test reasons. DOnt' ask me why because a lot of the cars are the same over here as over there.

So what they do to get aruond that is to completely disasemble the cars and then I guess they get registered as kit cars.

So the cars were dropped off completely guttted of everything.

The shop has already completed one skyline and ran it at the track. I belive it did a 14.6 at 96 from what i was told Bone stock. Not sure if ts an R33 or 34. Someone I am sure here knows the difference.

Hope that wasn't a GTR... if it was they sure didn't put it back together very well...

I believe thats what they run stock. Bolts ons will make it much quicker.

Htey are assembling the cars not taking them apaart. They get them in peices. I will head on over later this week to see how those cars are coming along so you can see the progress

GTR's run mid 13's stock, AFAIK.

GTS's and such are slower, of course.
