stolen car need vin check
I need to find the owner of the civic that the thievs droped off in front of my building. the vin is 2hgej6347yh111979 if anyone has carfax please run it and find the owner for me, so I can contact them. The boston police suck, and wont do shit . I already reported it an hour ago and no cops yet.

That doesn't mean the police suck.
Look at it from their side, this is a very low priority call. The police departments do everything they can with limited funds. They need to get so much done with so few officers. Becuase of this, calls in bigger cities get 1 of 3 priority ratings. There is green yellow and red. A 911 hangup with a chick screaming "GET OFF ME GET OFF ME!!!" is going to get a red, and get multiple officers running code 3. Now the call about a car being outside someone's house is going to get a green. Once all hihger priority calls are cleared, a single officer will be sent.
Colorado Springs does the same thing, it can often be 6 hours before an officer will show up. If you called after 6:00pm, chances are you won't get an officer till midday tomorrow. The day crews are a lot slower, and can take care of the "BS calls."
I don't think the Boston PD sucks for doing this, maybe they do for other reasons, I don't know, but not for this.

the bpd sucks cause i had to report the car after 20 or so patrols have passed it today (its obvious with no window or headlights, and rims on two lugs parked in a tow zone that its stolen. They suck because when they do respond, they wont print the car or gather evidence they will just mark the date and time and call a tow company whom they auction the tow permits to. The more permits they issue the more money they get therefor the more stolen cars the more permits. The tow company in turn charges the owner a tow and storage fee which if and when he catches the theif like i did will not get refunded from the lack of evidence from the polices shitty work.
if they helped catch the theivs there wouldnt be 1 car broken into on my street every night, and in turn no level 1 calls. Thats what the stolen car task force was set up to do.
