91-93 are hard to adjust, can not loosen the cogs and turn them.

94-95 can be adjusted by loosening the cog I believe

96-97 might not work with the earlier cams?

What's the difference between the OBDI belt and OBDII belt?

I ended up finding cogs at the junkyard.
91-93 uses pressed-in lockring to hold cog to camshaft. Cogs have to be removed with a puller to get them to rotate again if you mess up the timing or want to change it. That means removing the belt, resetting the tensioner, etc. They suck.
94-97 use a tapered piece that expands when the bolt is tightened, to lock it against the camshaft.
I dont know what makes 96-97 different from 94-95. Probably # of teeth and so the belt has a different tooth spacing too.. apparently you can swap it over to the old cams though. You have to use the intermediate shaft sprocket too, and of course the different belt.
