Fuse issues

I just installed a power trunk release on the Formula and since then I have been having problems with one of the fuses. The fuse is labelled BAT, and uses a 20 amp fuse. It keeps blowing fuses, and when you try and replace them the fuse arcs out and blows. I shoved a 30 amp in there and all is fine.

I thought it could have been the power trunk release, but the release still works when the fuse is blown. I am not sure whats going on, electrical isn't my thing by any means.

Anyone have an idea what the problem might be. Stupidity insults welcome and expected.

disconnect the power trunk release and see if it keeps blowing fuses.
