I don't think your time would be evenly mildly bitter compared to mrsleeve's. Certainly not sweet.
I'm not familiar with the aftermarket 350 4-bolts... are the extra bolts splayed or straight?mrsleeve91 wrote:Sorry no vids yet, Dont have / know anyone with a digital one.
The 4 bolts were easy, some hardened 440 stainless bar stock and a bridgeport w/ easy track. drilled and taped the extra holes in the block. ( I just coppied the desgin of the standard after market 350 4 bolt but used the 3.4 specs. )

aftermarket 350 blocks are available with your choice of straight or splayed. Because factory-GM 4-bolt 350s were never splayed, I'm assuming splayed.
I have an article about modifying the factory 2-bolt caps, and the block, of a 2-bolt 454 to take 2 more bolts, if you'd like to see more. I'll post it soon in my thread about saving a cracked iron block.

Its a Holset HX55 from a huge generator, like for a small train. I think that was the application because it was the only way you could get the water cooled center section. Can make 45lb of boost all day long. Thats what the local holset dealer assured me. I got it off egay used but it showed no signs of use. Well not more than a few hours any way.
And yes, they are splayed main caps. I didnt plan on them, but after Wesico screwed me on the first set of pistons I had a month and a half to kill.... Humm, what else can I over build? And there you have it. lol

So I went to step up my inj. this weekend to the 42's and well, didnt like how the fuel rails came out.. Cause they hit the intake manifold and have a tendence to leak rondomly. (Cause the flimsy tabs I welded on.) So Im hoping to make some new ones this weekend and Ill have some more pics of that.
I figured I would make that extra brace for the passenger side of the diff. while its down. :thumbleft:

Thats a good point, Im hoping to not add or subtract any of the pre load. Just a straight bar or plate with several mounting places on the trans and block.
Also thinking about adding a few of these...

Since I dont have a dog bone, The engine moves, but mostly to extend the life of my mounts.
What do you guys want me to mass produce? fuel rails or braces? lol
