The SC sits really low in the valley, and pushes the compressed air up, through the intercooler, then the runners curve off to either side and go right down to the heads. It's a unique design, the SC is actually upside down if you will. But it's there.

I think that the Thunderbird SuperCoupes have a similar layout. It's also the same layout as the LS9 uses in the ZR1.

The SC pulley is right above the crank in this pic (water connections for the AWIC are right above that):

You can also get an idea of the airflow path from this pic:

The throttle is right behind that rubber coupling. The supercharger inlet is behind that. The blower pushes the air up through the AWIC cores under the black cover at the top of the image, then down through the cast aluminum "towers" on either side of the throttle and into the cylinder heads.

If I had $6G's to blow on the thing, I'd rip all that shit off and turbo it... but that's just me.

The T-Bird SC was sort of similar, except it used a front mount air to air. I can't remember off hand if the TB-SC blower was inverted or not though.

It's like the TRD supercharger on my 2000 Tundra. It's hard to see unless you're looking for it.
