The current owner does have one of those euro spec muncies.

I was thinking more like reflective badges.

Reflective badges?!? Why don't you get some washer nozzles that light up and yellow paint for the dashboard while you're at it. I figured you were talking about pulleys, exhaust, etc...you know, useful things.

I always liked the GTX badges.

But in reality, pulley/intake/exhaust/tune.

Then a GTX hood and spoiler.

You might have missed the fact that I'm picking this up for the wife.

240hp is plenty enough for her to tote the kids around with, and pass someone on the highway.

I'd like to do a pulley swap, but I'm not sure what I can do without running 93. If I can do a 3.4 sans intercooler with only a PCM change, I'll do it.

It needs a tail light.... maybee there are some alteezas available.....

I keed about the alteezas

3.4 is a lot for a GTP without supporting mods. Most of the lightly modded guys on 3800pro stick to a 3.6. Why not do a CAI, ported exhaust manifolds, Ubend delete, and a cat-back. Call it a 30mpg day.

I would have U-bend delete first on my list (downpipe). Since its for the wifey, I would aim more at MPG mods like cincy said. You should be able to wring close to 30mpg from that thing. Stock ignition/wires are usually good units, but I would do a plug change to TR6 with your first service. Also, a press on 3.5" pulley would be all you would need to have a zippy and reliable DD.

Edit, the tr6's are colder and will help with KR. So I will do that. I will also get the 3.5"

I dont want to have to run premium so 3.4 is out, and the u-bend delete will be looked at when I have the car on the lift. Not sure what it might need for maintenance.

I'd run premium even on a stock pulley.

For MPG gains, anything to the exhaust and spark will help. So plugs, U-bend delete, and maybe a turbo or 2 :)

I know you like the 3800 because you are familiar with it but I think a 300M would have been a better car. 250hp on 87 octane, newer aluminum sohc engine that has been proven to be reliable, better looks, nicer interior etc etc....

If it's what you wanted, that's cool too. Everyone has a different opinion on what is best...

I think the car looks great as is. a smaller pulley is going to hurt gas mileage. I say just a good tune up and a cleaning of the maf sensor and call it a day.
FieroPhrek working on that ls4 swap for 18 years and counting now. 18 years!!!!! LOL

The wife would like window tint, so i need to find a local shop that will do a good interior detail, and window tint.

I'll do the TR6 plugs and look into the u-bend delete mod more.

I wont buy a chrystler/dodge/jeep ever, sorry crzyone. Im sure the motor is good, but how about the transmission. If you cant tell, Im not all that familiar with a 3800. I will be though. Also, the wife likes the car, and its for her, she did not like the 300m looks.

Pretty sure you have to run premium on stock boost anyways. And for a whole $.20 a gallon more, you may as well. Thats like $4 more for a full tank.

I do 700 miles a week, divide that by 30 mpg = 23.3 gallons at $.2/gal thats 4.6 bucks a week. = $250/year.

Not bad I guess.
