Battery Box Showdown (New Logo For The Forum)
Series8217 made a new logo to replace the old one that Shaun put up.
Who thinks we should use it? YAY/NAY
Anyone care to come up with something better?

I like it but I'll come up with something better eventually :afrocool:
Maybe some sort of mosaic of RFT member dyno charts and timeslips and autocross pics and etc. Goes with the theme, ya know? Once everybody actually gets their damn projects on the road!
EDIT: Oh oh! Idea!
Can we have a random pic displayed at the top next to the logo, out of a gallery of member's rides every day or every time a page loads have a different one? That'd be sweet!

I was thinking a Mosaic of a lot of the member's cars, but I really liek your second idea, that'd be HOT!Series8217 wrote:I like it but I'll come up with something better eventually :afrocool:

Thats a cool shiznat right there. Kinda Ghetto-fied :thumbleft:stimpy wrote:Here's a quick messy one.
Can you make one similar to that but with more emphasis on the text rather than the car? When that gets scaled down to the size it would be on the top of the page the text is hard to read and the car looks like a big blob. If the car were smaller and maybe something added or moved around to adjust for that, that would loook great
Blue Shift, I'm going to punch you in the face.
Yeah, that's just a representations of the theme. I finished that up at 1 in the morning. No way in hell I'd want that particular piece going up. I'm working on something more banner like that uses those elements.Series8217 wrote:Can you make one similar to that but with more emphasis on the text rather than the car?

Red, White and Blue is Old Europe?! I hope you choke on a Freedom Fry!
Also, I think that's the sexiest angle of the Fiero, bar none, so I have a lot of shots from that angle. I have some good side shots too, but I really like the rear 3/4.

This link should give a full size view of what it would look like full screen as a header.

I agree, you can't really tell its a Fiero if you aren't familiar with them, it looks just like a Ferrari or CRX.Series8217 wrote:Call me picky, but I think the car ends up looking like a bright colored blob once it turns to banner size. a side shot would probably work better because of the more recognizable profile. Don't get me wrong; I love the character of that rear shot its just it doesn't work too well at small size.
