The P-book does list a different part number for the 88 valve.

Are you looking for the port that screws into the front? Dunno if thats the same or not.

thats exactly what I need. That little fitting that screws into the front that feeds the front brakes. I crossthreaded mine when I installed new lines.

If you have a propotioning valve from a non 88 I can take a pic of the fitting from mine to see if I can use it if you want to sell it.

If there's a difference between the two valves, it's probably in the spring inside.

here is mine

take note there is a fitting in the front that I unscrewed where that brake line is supposed to go. That fitting simply unscrews. I need that fitting, or, the whole prop if you don't want to unscrew it.

Isn't the block aluminum? If you cross-threaded the steel fitting enough to screw it up, you probably screwed up the block, also.

Good news for him, I'll be pulling the whole block because I am not wasting 5 minutes of my life for just an insert.

I'll box it up tomorrow and hopefully it will only be a couple bucks to ship, it weighs nothing.
