North Carolina this weekend / next week
I'm going to North Carolina on Saturday. Going to be in Charlotte for a few days, then near Raleigh for a few days.
Going to stay at Paul's for the beginning of the week, then I'm off to Raleigh.
I might also go to Nags Head or Kill Devil Hills to freedive at some 'wrecks if conditions permit.
Who all is going to be around?

If I don't have to stay all day Wednesday I will try to make it down. I will have to drive the 88 though, I blew the radiator on the diesel, 7 hours of the cat-less drone of my car, saweeeeeeet.

paniccia008: I got the M prepped up.
Emc209i: Heh, sure that thing will make it down here?
paniccia008: You can't be serious. Most reliable diesel ever produced.
Emc209i: 5 Million mile motor deal?
Emc209i: Well you never know, maybe a COOLANT HOSE BUSTS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
You owe me money- I called that out like a blimp in a fogstorm.
Dude, if you drive all the way down here, I'll buy you a beer. And of course there's a place to stay if you need it.

It was a Nissen Canadian Radiator, Aluminum core, plastic end tanks, the press on join between the two split. I blame it on the Canadians.
I am going to see what I can do. Its 7.5 hours according to mapquest. Hopefully the Wednesday thing I can dip out early, I don't really need to play hackee sack with a bunch of pot heads and discuss my feelings.

Diesel is fixed, Thursday to see Jinx run is looking 50/50, all depends on how late Wednesday runs. I've got a set of 5 speed axles just hanging around, should I bring them? haha

Our coolant never leaves the heater core. Rads are for show.CincinnatiFiero wrote:I blame it on the Canadians.

I drove Steven to the train station this morning. He should be at the beach by now. Anyway, still watching this to see if Cinncybunny comes down.

Charlottes forecast is rain all week. I have a feeling it wasn't meant to be, I may be pushing my visit further off.
Re: North Carolina this weekend / next week
Aight. I'll probably be headed to Holden beach tomorrow night then.

I would just be rushing down tomorrow so I could see a run (that won't happen because of weather) and hang out for the night then have to come back friday. I can do it, but not worth it. I don't move until late September so maybe later?
