Someone be a baller and throw down. A V12 is always handy for something, even if it's just holding the floor down.

I can't think of one PRACTICAL advantage of this engine over any LSx. Even the truck 4.8L version.

That sums up the REAL advantage. The ridiculousness. It's a Lamborghini engine.

"I don't have any idea what this fits, but I know its worth $5K"

At that price, it would be nice to have a little more info, like how many pistons have kissed valves, rod knock, etc.

If that engine in a runner, 5K is a steal. You could probably just part it out for more than that.

Posted it here because it was cool. I personally had no idea what it was worth, but you guys just touched on a sore subject: I had a guy send me an email cursing me up and down because I had the audacity to ask $350 or best offer for a single factory 17" off a 08 Civic SI. Honda wants $900, but I'm a "fucking craigslist moron" for asking so much.

Anyway....

Clean it up, throw a piece of glass on top and you have a cool table. :D

Asking 38.89% of what the dealer wants is dumb, they want over $700 for a steel 16" wheel for a full size GM pickup. You have to price according to aftermarket alternatives that look different but fit the same. And if it's used, you have to go half the price of the cheapest new aftermarket alternative. Just the way it is.
