Seen the pics of the little yellow 2011 Scion iQ, with the surprisingly wide tires? It's begging for a 638 cubic inch big block Chevy V8, a Powerglide, a 9" Ford on a ladder bar / coil-over suspension, and 8 CTS-V LSA mufflers, one for each header tubes.
Plus, put an LS4 / F40 in the Aston Martin Cygnet version, because of it's inadequate tires, before giving it to Jeremy Clarkson. He'd embarass himself, badly.

Those wheels and tires aren't as wide as what's on the yellow iQ above, and so I'm not as captivated. Plus the styling's not so "over the top". But those hamsters are cool.

No no no, I like it yellow. All of my cars NEED new paint, but the iQ has new paint. And Formula 350 stickers might give a clue to what I would've done engine-wise, and they'd look "off" to everyone else.

Can't you guys imagine sitting at a light, and one of these rolls up beside you. You're gonna expect no more than 100 HP, right? The light changes, you go to half throttle, but it's already at the next light ahead. This'd be the ultimate "sleeper"! NO one would EVER suspect.

I rolled up alongside a Prius just the other day, decked out in liberal bumper stickers, with a stereotypically weenie looking guy driving it and though "Wouldn't it be epic to stuff a pissed off, supercharged big block V8 in there with side pipes on there?". I'd do it just to totally rape the car of it's greenie status, then go drive around through Hollywood, Berkley, San Francisco, etc...

I've been thinking that it would be hilarious to put a Cadillac 500 into a Lotus 7 with a T56 and 2.73 gears. Turn 1000 RPM on the highway and get 30 mpg.

Could do even better with a Duramax diesel.

Duramaxes are junk, you gotta be cummin or strokin. Either way all three motors outweigh a Lotus 7, it'd be an interesting swap.

What are you smoking? Taking hits from the bong? The DuraMax is great. PowerJokes are a problem, however. Or should I say PowerChoke. I'd never put one in my '89 Mustang.
