10.58@127MPH with 1.42 60ft.

125 Shot + Slicks + Front Cobra Imola S Race Seats + The Driver Mod + Dialing In The Suspension = 1.40 60ft's and the bumper almost touching the ground when launching....

That's 550+ HP and if he sprayed off the line, 700+ ftlbs. On slicks. I'm impressed the axle held together and that it didn't experience wheel hop.

Well the rear would hold, being a 31-spline 8.8", but the lack-of-wheel-hop issue shows why the stock shocks are worth keeping, even with all the rear squat.
There are guys running high 9s on 28 spline 8.8s with manual transmissions, but in lighter earlier Mustangs. The 8.8 is as strong a design as anything short of a Dana 60. It's stronger than the Dana 44 used in the Viper and the older 'vettes, including the '90-'95 ZR1

All I'm saying is 550+HP 700+ TQ, solid axle and full slicks. NO WAY that is fast.

The new 5.0s are underrated. With a 125-shot of spray, 500+ rwhp is a reality. And with traction, high 10s are expected.

It means nothing, because no company even makes Drag Radials OR drag slicks in the correct size for the Enzo. Enzos roll on 345/35R19s, so you could try 305/35R20 drag Radials, Nitto makes those, but who would put Nitrous on an Enzo?
Ford is well aware that the majority of buyers of V8 Mustangs do take them to the dragstrip. Ford has been mindful of these enthusiasts each time they reworked the Mustang, starting with what became the '94 Mustang.
I've been active in the world of Mustang racing since '87, I know it as well as I know anything. I have saved over a thousand issues of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine.
I know what these cars and parts can do and cannot do, having raced my own '89 Mustang LX, and I raced in a '99 Mustang also. The '99 was road racing, while the '89 has been drag racing.

Ferrari never has, and never will make a drag car. Its a moot point. Put 345/35R19s on a Mustang. It won't go around a track anything like an enzo even if you could spray that 150shot for the whole track. You guys are trying to compare things that cannot be compared.

With their horsepower and current launch and traction control technologies, Ferraris are almost drag cars. The 458 Italia runs nearly the same trap speed as the Mustang in question.

But that's not what they are supposed to be.

First who said you can't put different rims on an enzo, so you can use a real drag radial?

Second,
Then why are you trying so hard to be faster/quicker then an enzo? Why do you want to build an Enzo killer? You plainly state that you can't put any real tire on an Enzo, so I guess that means you are going to be running stock 205/60/15's GT+4 tires when you try to beat enzo times? This is of course on a qtr mile or a roudcourse.

I've read the the new GT is supposed to handle and brake really well, which I think is cooler than 10s on nitrous.

110mph trap speed which is as fast as Archies fastest qtr mile turnkey car he has built in 26 years
.94G lateral
105ft to brake from 60mph.

Totally whoops up on fieros. Don't try and run one of these mustangs in "the twisties" Old Europe members.
