The punisher took his civic to the GRM 2010 in Gainsville. The event is this weekend. He had his car on the dyno today. The autocross and drag are in the next couple of days.

Word has it that he didn't get a DNF this time, but the car didn't drive onto the trailer under its own power.

According to JM's Facebook, there is a hole the size of a grapefruit in the block, and the picture of the annihilated connecting rod indicated some very high temps at the crank from what I would imagine would have been oil-starvation.
I don't know how he did result-wise though...

Dyno'd 244 WHP @ 15 psi - The turbo had been dropped @ some point and had 2 bent fins.
weighed in at 1940 Lb - something I can bring down further with the removal of rebars and door bars ..hoping to get to under 1900
finished 22nd out of 58
Rod Blew to oil starvation.
had a wicked time with the guys from Honng Noorr and OMGWTFBBQ.
building another D - Goin back next year.
sold my old turbo setup - mani - Turbo and DP for $400 ... bought a T04e 47 trim and a cast mani -

If you see any other cheap turbo D stuff that you are taking a pass on (or selling) that you want to see go to a $2011 home, let me know. I'm looking at another oddball $2011 project powered by a D, hopefully turbo D.
