How and where do you tune something like that?

529 means stroker, and even if they offset-ground the original crank, that's still not a "stock" crank.
And considering what they were doing, they should have been de-stroking a 472.

It's not a *stock* crank, but it is a *production* crank. It's probably been nitrided and had a few other interesting things done to it as well.
It's offset ground *DOWN* to BBC journal size.
I think 1800 HP on a production cast crank is damned impressive.

472 and 500 have the same bore. Absent regulations limiting displacement, bigger is better.
Also, the big block Caddy architecture has 4 head bolts per cylinder. Stock they are 1/2" bolts tightened to 105 ftlbs. I don't even want to know what size/torque the Spectre engine uses.
