Back from paint! (Another Merc)

Post by CincinnatiFiero »

Not terribly exciting, but it was a project none the less and is pretty much done for now.

Had it painted with a 1994 facelift front end off a parts car E320 I bought. It's called Beryl Blue, some years was called Teal-Green, I hate the word Rare, but its certainly an uncommon color, its a little wacky, but 99% of these cars are freaking beige so I sort of love the color.

I replaced the evaporator core in it, did balljoints, glowplugs, rear brakes, my dad did a headliner in it, we got some crack free wood from the junkyard, and put a factory radio back in it. I'm going to let my 17 year old sister drive it.

I left it outside for a few months and the paint went to total shit, it didn't look this horrible when I messaged you about it Will.

Yeah, once the clear coat starts to go, it goes very quickly.

Looks nice now, though.

What year was this beast again?
