Had a duh moment... the Cherokee SRT-8 uses an NV 146 single speed transfer case that's apparently a good performance item. I'm still looking, but at least the WK1 chassis cars used the 722.6 five speed automatic.

Oh wait... stupid NV146 is left hand drop, while the Benz 4Matic front drive assembly for the M113 V8 is right hand drop
