What are you all doing for GoPro mounting to vehicles, Haven't slapped mine to a car yet so I'm looking for any input as I don't want to loose it first time out. Also do you run a tether for security?

Most guys just use the suction cup at autocross, and a mini threw one last week and it was unharmed. Now for faster track days I don't know if it would survive the fall.

I run mine on the inside of the windshield, basically a dashcam view.

I use a mix of suction cups and adhesive hardpoints.

I did have a suction cup come off once, but it was getting clobbered by mud on a rallycross course.
