That's when there's the most blow-by, but also when the oil vapors in the PCV air would have the most detrimental effect on the engine.

Also, blow-by in the crankcase from a WOT burst gets cleaned up the next time the throttle closes.

In order to deal with blow by WHILE the engine is at WOT, you'll need an exhaust extractor thingy.

Here's a discussion of exhaust driven crank case evacuation. A dude claims 5-6" of vacuum.
